Doris Azerrad Cohen was born in Tanger in 1953.
She grew up between the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. At start her art was mainly influenced by the vistas of the sea and ocean.

During her adolescence years she immigrated to Israel. The change of environment and landscape inspired her to paint about social importance in Israel. Doris broaden her art career by taking coursed at Art College in Ramat-Gan Israel, there she became familiar with stained glass, glass painting and crafts.

Today, Doris is a dedicated artist who specializes in oil painting. Her painting reflects connection to nature and life.
